UAB FBF "SG finansai" licence revoked

According to the data made available to the LSC, UAB FBF “SG finansai“ has notified all its clients of its intention to terminate the provision of investment services. Part of the clients failed to respond to the communication concerned and did not indicate to where the financial instruments and/or funds owned by them are to be transferred.

 

Acting in accordance with Article 6.56 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania UAB FBF “SG finansai" concluded a deposit agreement with AB “Swedbank“ and transferred the funds of all its clients that did not respond to the account opened with AB “Swedbank“. The financial instruments of the clients who did not respond to the notice communicated by UAB FBF “SG finansai“ were transferred to other account managers – accounting managers of respective issuers, and other financial brokerage firms or credit institutions authorised to provide investment services.

 

UAB FBF “SG finansai“ has ceased its activity of accounting client funds and financial instruments. Persons who have been holding their funds with the firm should apply to AB „Swedbank“, and inquiries concerning financial instruments should be addressed to the firm itself that will refer the applicants to the relevant account managers, or communicated to the LSC (contact person – Kristina Dabrišiūtė, tel.: (8 5) 271 49 27, e-mail: kdabrisiute@vpk.lt ).
